PM Holness has asserted that despite being “constituency executed”, the Shared Prosperity Through Accelerated Improvement to our Road Network (SPARK) Programme is a “national” programme.
He noted that the programme is “divided into two elements”.
He clarified that the element launched at Everest Drive in Harbour View on Monday (December 30), is an example of the “community road element”, referring to repairs to be undertaken on roads not considered to be main roads under the National Works Agency (NWA) Act.
The second element will focus on improving main roads.
The Prime Minister was speaking during the walk-through of the project site on Everest Drive in Harbour View on Monday (December 30).
